Father - Son Bonding (Making Glue)

Some of you know that my son and I have been working on a chopper together. I must say that it has been very enjoyable for me to spend time with Beau. It’s only an hour or two each week, but it’s a good for us to do men stuff. Beau is now a proud father himself and with the purchase of a new home and their second baby on the way, well, Beau is a little busy. Here is a picture of the bike before we started working on it.

I meet a friend of Beau’s at Awesome Biker Nights last June. His name is Harley and he has a chopper shop at Jefferson SD. After having some welding done to the bike and not being happy with the way it turned out, Beau said we should have Harley work on our bike. Seeing his work I agreed, the work he does is amazing. Last night we went to Jefferson, “The Chop Shop” to see how the fabrication on our bike is going. Here is Harley working on it.

The bike is amazing. I couldn’t be happier. Here is a picture of the bike mock up.

I will keep you posted on how things are progressing with the chopper. Our hope is for it to be ready for Awesome Biker Nights this summer.

South Sioux City Supports Darfur with iZZon photo booth

Hundreds of thousands of civilians have died from violence, disease, and starvation, and thousands of women have been raped. More than 2.5 million civilians have been driven from their homes, their villages torched and property stolen. Thousands of villages have been systematically destroyed in and around Darfur Sudan, located near Central Africa.

Students from South Sioux City Middle school have banned together to raise money in support and help the people of Darfur. iZZon photography setup the photo booth at the school and the kids paid to use the photo booth, with the proceeds going to support Darfur. Both Denise and I were very impressed with the kids at South Sioux City Middle school. Not only with the seer volume of kids that showed up in support, but with how the kids can have fun and be well behaved at the same time.

Here are some photos of the event. We sure had a good time.
Thank you South Sioux City Cardinals
