Heroes

Good Morning, or should I say afternoon? I woke up last night at 3:00am and was not able to get back to sleep. I decided to get some work done and started working on an idea that I had during Leonel’s photo shoot: A Comic Book Hero. Why I was thinking about a comic book hero? I don’t know, but I think it shows what a little sleep deprivation can create with the help of a great photo editing software. And a smidge of artistic vision!

Finally, the photo booth is done. It is very cool, and fun. (Did you notice the "easy" button)? Next time you are at iZZon you will have to ask about it. I will have it set up in the studio for our clients to play with.

Here is Devyn checking out the photo booth. I think she like it.

Holy Cow, the holidays are coming! Gift Certificates Available

Autumn has slipped by as fast as the leaves have turned and fallen to the ground. We have been so fortunate to meet so many great clients and visit with previous members of our iZZon photography family. Seniors have stunned us with their vitality and vision for the future, along with their individuality and lust for the unique! Families have came for great portraiture and had a fun time in the process! Engagement couples have had fears quelled because the guys really do find out we are not the "photo-nazi's" but just an old married couple who love to take great images, owns fantastic equipment, willing to try new ideas and love to help with your wedding! Speaking of weddings, these have been some fantastic weddings-from fun to romantic, to party to private, romantic times-they are all unique and fun!

Our lives are full. We have wonderful families, friends and the best clients in the world! We have our health and a loving family. Memories are important. Of course, we all say that and being photographers, this is our livelihood but Eric and I recognise that these images and the time you spend taking them are perhaps the most treasured possessions of all. Recently, I took images of a baby that was gravely ill. I was reminded once again of how important it is to capture the memories of today and I was humbled to have been chosen to do their portraits. Also during October, I lost an uncle and while at the funeral, the family had many of the photos of when he was a younger man, a man I didn't know but, because of the portraits, snap shots and photos, I was able to see and appreciate more. We both are honored to have been a small part in all of our client's lives. We are thankful to be included in your life, weddings, families, businesses and events. Memories are important so make one today. "What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it." T. Simmons

Scary things happen on Halloween!

Everyone knows how busy Denise and I have been these last few months and now is no exception. Two nights ago, Halloween Night, I decided to work in my office upstairs so that I could take care of Trick or Treater’s and still get some work done. I’m working on Melinda and Travis’s wedding and while flipping threw their photos on the computer, this is what I saw

Dude! I’m not kidding, this is what happened. It scared the hell out of me. Then I laughed hysterically and called Denise up to see.

She still thinks I a “Tard”. What’s new!
